In order for Wal-Mart to stay on top of the retail market, it undertakes an aggressive remodel program touching hundreds of retail stores each year. These are major remodels and contain several components, such as: store face lifts; pharmacy additions; one-hour photo labs; optical shops; chain-link enclosures; garden center additions; seasonal box enclosures; garden center canopies; stock room expansions; and general remodel areas.
