Cyntergy AEC provided engineering and construction phase services for an initial study and detailed construction bid plans and specifications, which resulted in a decentralized steam production system. The project initially was intended to replace three existing Cleaver-Brooks water tube boilers; however, the study showed that the facility would be best served by a “decentralized” steam system to be located in three new separate locations, with the existing central boiler plant to be abandoned and eventually demolished.
